Cindy Lake: Vice Chair of Education Committee
Cindy Lake has been married for 30 years and is the proud mother of 4 children. Cindy is a Realtor and has been a member in good standing of GLVAR/NAR for 22 years.
She is a Fiscally Conservative Political Activist and Pro-school choice advocate, including Homeschool. Currently, she homeschools her 12-year-old son and teaches a weekly class on civics at Rise Resource Center to a group of homeschoolers.
On the political side, Cindy has a long list of accomplishments including – Nevada Activists Coalition Meetup Organizer since 2010. The group has over 300 members, and Cindy has organized over 400 events for the group. Cindy served as secretary of the Clark County Republican Party (CCRP) and became the “Acting Chairwoman” and formerly elected to the position in 2012. Nevada Republican voter registrations increased during her tenure and she is widely considered the most fiscally conservative chairman ever in CCRP history! She has been a delegate to the Republican National Convention and served on the Rules Committee at the Republican National Convention. Additionally, when Cindy was a member of Nevada Republican Rules Committee, she co-authored a resolution condemning rule changes within the RNC that passed unanimously in December 2012, at the National Republican Central Committee (NRCC) meeting in Pahrump, NV. In 2008, she served as a state and county delegate and NRCC member.
Cindy worked extensively on the Ron Paul presidential grassroots campaign as well as a phone bank manager for Danny Tarkanian’s 2010 senatorial campaign. She has extensive campaign experience on various campaigns in Nevada, including, data management, walking doors, phone banking, and more.
She ran for Nevada County Commission District G in 2014 and received the endorsement of the Nevada Republican Party, Nevada Libertarian Party, and the Independent Party. While Cindy lost her campaign to the 16-year veteran politician who spent nearly a million dollars against Cindy’s $20,000, her loss was less than 1000 votes of the 60,000 votes cast.
Also, she is a member of groups such as Southern Nevada Watchdogs and PANDAA, as well as other Nevada activist groups. A social media guru, Cindy manages a Facebook page with 250 plus National Delegates nationwide. She has worked as a co-host for “Veterans In Politics” (VIP) radio broadcast, and a host of “Freedom Talk with Cindy Lake” internet radio.
